Who you’ll be working with
Plainspoke Studio is run by Cruz, a young web designer based in Woodbury, Minnesota. I build simple, good-looking websites for small local businesses that don’t need — or want to pay for — a big agency.

Good to know
Is it really $200?
Yes — $200 one time for the website described above. The only other cost is a domain name if you want one (about $10–20 a year, paid to the domain company, not me).
Are there monthly fees?
No. The site is hosted on Cloudflare’s free plan. If you’d like me to handle updates for you, there’s an optional care plan, but you don’t need it.
How long does it take?
Usually within a week of receiving your details and photos. Most of the wait is normally gathering content, so having it ready speeds things up.
Do I own the website?
Yes. When it’s finished it can be set up in your own free Cloudflare account, and you get a copy of all the files.
Can you change the colors and fonts?
Yes. Every design can be recolored and use different fonts to match your brand. The layout stays the same, which is how I keep the price low.
What do I need to provide?
Your business details, services and prices, a few photos, and your logo if you have one. I’ll send you a simple checklist.
Can people book or contact me through the site?
Yes. I can link your existing booking page, or add a form that sends enquiries straight to your email.
What if I already have a website?
That’s fine — I can use it as a starting point and move your content over.
